At Ascension 20 in Slay the Spire, act 3 ends with two boss fights in a row. The Beyond has three bosses: Awakened One, Donu and Deca, and Time Eater.
How the two bosses are picked
Once you have seen all three act 3 bosses on your profile, the game shuffles all three at the start of act 3. You fight the first one, then the second. The third one does not appear.

The same odds apply to Awakened One and to Donu and Deca.
When you get only one boss
If one act 3 boss has never been seen on your profile, act 3 uses it, in this order: Awakened One, then Donu and Deca, then Time Eater. In that case the boss list holds only that one boss, and Ascension 20 does not add a second fight.
